The Next Generation of Dynasty AI
Dynasty Financial Partners stated that its AI capabilities have been live within Dynasty Desktop for two years and that the latest development represents a broader book-level AI layer capable of reasoning across every client, account and document an advisor manages.
The company said the system is designed to move beyond presenting information by turning its analysis into usable work product, while allowing advisors to retain responsibility for decisions.
Shirl Penney, Dynasty Founder and Chief Executive Officer, stated:
“This is the moment the industry stops adapting to AI and starts running on it. The way we see it, Anthropic is the engine, Dynasty builds the plane, and the advisor is always the pilot. We build the plane so advisors can fly it, at scale, safely, without ever touching the machinery underneath. The result is, we are not giving advisors another dashboard, we are giving them their time back!”
Penney is also scheduled to join Anthropic’s Head of Asset and Wealth Management Peter Nolan, Charles Schwab’s Head of Advisor Services Jon Beatty, and Ritholtz Wealth Management Managing Partner Michael Batnick on the Future Proof main stage this week for a discussion on AI and wealth management.
The Clearest Proof Point Yet
Dynasty stated that its latest AI development builds on five years of infrastructure work and material investment, with Claude models incorporated directly into the Desktop environment.
The company said advisors can bring their own playbooks, templates and points of view, while Dynasty contributes skills and knowledge developed through more than 15 years of working alongside leading RIAs.
Penney stated:
“We couldn’t be more aligned with Anthropic on helping to power the independent movement. Dynasty advisors demand simplicity, and now they have Claude’s frontier models built right into the Desktop where all their business and client data already live. On top of that, our AI lets advisors bring their own playbooks, templates, and points of view, alongside skills Dynasty has built from over a decade and a half working alongside some of the most elite RIAs in the country. The result is AI that supports your business. Full stop.”
Peter Nolan stated:
“Dynasty has built a leading integrated operating system in the RIA space, and it is exactly the kind of platform we built Claude to power. This shows what happens when frontier intelligence meets an operator who has spent years turning fragmented data into a single, usable view of the advisor’s business. We are proud to stand behind Dynasty as they push the wealth ecosystem forward.”
Book-Level AI Chat: The Hardest Question, Answered
Book-Level AI Chat provides advisors with a conversational layer across clients, accounts and documents.
Dynasty stated that the capability is designed to answer questions such as “Who should I talk to today?” by reasoning across:
- CRM activity and open tasks
- Email and meeting transcripts
- Account values and recent movements
- Household documents
- Planning data
- Industry knowledge
The system also incorporates firm-specific and advisor-specific definitions of priorities and is designed to operate for every advisor at a cost intended to work at scale.
Leslie Norman, Dynasty’s Chief Technology Officer, stated:
“Getting the raw data isn’t the hard part anymore. The hard part is the reasoning layer that knows you, your clients, and your operations, with a clean, reconciled view of your business. Five years of infrastructure work and material investment is why we can do this today, and why it is not just another chatbot answering questions. It is the foundation for a Chief of Staff that helps curate an advisor’s day.”
Polished Work Product, Not Just Data
Dynasty AI now generates client and prospect proposals, reports and branded presentations within Dynasty Desktop using Claude models. The company stated that a single click can turn the full household picture into a deliverable for advisor review.
The platform can also agentically pre-fill account paperwork and client forms from household records, reducing manual re-keying during onboarding and account maintenance.
AI That Runs on Your Playbook
Dynasty stated that skills and knowledge feed AI experiences throughout Dynasty Desktop, allowing each RIA to personalize workflows around its own operating approach.
Advisors can provide their own playbooks and templates, while Dynasty layers in skills and knowledge developed from its work with leading RIAs. The company said the resulting AI is designed to reflect how an individual firm operates, rather than function as a generic assistant.
Built for Security, Compliance, and Scale
Dynasty stated that it applies data management, security and compliance guardrails on top of Anthropic’s models, supported by a proprietary intelligence layer that routes requests to the appropriate Claude model.
The company said its existing connectivity and data infrastructure allows information to reach Claude in a reconciled and usable form across the systems advisors already use. Dynasty stated that this architecture supports a fast, reliable AI experience at scale while protecting the margins established by Dynasty firms.
Marc Hineman, Dynasty’s Chief Operating Officer, stated:
“At Dynasty, we don’t want advisors spending time on AI. We want them spending more time with clients because of what AI can produce for them. Advisors need to know three things: who to talk to, what to talk to them about, and how to improve that client’s situation.”
What’s Next
Book-Level AI is the latest innovation from Dynasty Labs, the firm’s innovation arm launched in September 2025 to commercialize emerging technology for its network. It follows Dynasty’s industry-first partnership with Wealth.com, announced earlier this year, which embedded Wealth.com’s Ester AI directly into Dynasty Desktop.
Dynasty stated that its roadmap includes:
- An expanding Model Context Protocol (MCP) gateway for deeper ecosystem connections
- A Virtual Chief of Staff designed to proactively curate an advisor’s day
- Continued technology innovation focused on enabling advisors to spend more time helping clients
The company stated that its recent infrastructure upgrade was completed by its in-house engineering team in collaboration with Anthropic.
Book-Level AI Chat is currently in early release with select firms, with a broad rollout planned across Dynasty’s network of 60 independent firms, representing more than $135 billion on the platform, later in the fourth quarter of 2026. Dynasty’s Virtual Chief of Staff (VCOS) is scheduled to become available to firms in the Dynasty Network in the first quarter of 2027.
